Every school holiday, we run camps for kids and youth across New Zealand, right here in Waihola.
Dive into outdoor fun, make friends, and learn about God in a place that cares for every camper, just as we have since 1963!
Camps for every age
Kids Camps
Our OSCAR accredited holiday camps for ages 8–12 bring adventure, games, and Bible teaching together in a safe, fun, nurturing environment.
Youth / Young Adults
For ages 15–20, our summer camps combine Biblical teaching, group discussion, Bible studies and apologetics, in partnership with Thinking Matters.
Family Camps
Every year, in the second week of the April school holidays, we host family camps for all couples, families, singles and groups from across New Zealand.

Unsure of what to pack?
A week before camp begins, you will receive an information letter with specific information pertaining to your camp. However, a general packing list is provided below. Please name all of your campers belongings.
All medicines must be in their original pharmacy box, with the pharmacy label attached. We cannot allow pill organisers or loose sheets for any medications.
When packing for camp, choose clothing suitable for changing weather - layers are best, with a warm jacket, sturdy shoes, waterproofs, a sunhat, and a torch for evening activities.

What do I bring?
About a week before camp begins, we will send you an information letter which includes camp arrival times and a packing list. However, a generic packing list can be found next to the register button on each camp.
What is your payment policy?
All camp fees must be paid before camp begins, unless a prior arrangement has been made with CYC staff. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive an invoice via email.
Payments can be made via credit card or internet banking.
As an OSCAR-accredited camp, you may be eligible to apply for OSCAR funding to help with the cost of camp. We also qualify for Ministry of Health subsidies in certain circumstances.
If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please complete a sponsorship request form. Our team will review your application and determine what level of support may be available through our sponsorship fund.
Do you have a lost property?
We sure do! Our lost property collection is available after each camp. As items can accumulate quickly, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if something has gone missing. Please ensure items are named properly before camp.
If we do not receive enquiries about lost items within 30 days of the camp ending, any unclaimed items will be donated to a local op shop.
